Glad you asked.  Most hotels offer complimentary shuttle service and will be happy to pick you up if you call ahead and let them know when you will be arriving. Their shuttles run throughout the day and are available to transport you in and out of town if your hotel happens to be a little farther off the main street of town (Crescent Ave). 

The town of Avalon is pretty small – about 15 blocks in total – so don’t worry, you can’t miss it once the boat docks.  If all else fails, just walk in the direction of the Casino.

The walk from the dock to Crescent Avenue is approximately 10 minutes.  All hotels are at most, a 25 minute walk from the dock.  If you are so inclined and don’t have too much luggage, we recommend taking the walk!  Take a peek in the ocean as you walk from the ferry and you’ll be sure to see a few bright orange Garibaldi fish as well as the famous Catalina underwater giant kelp forests!

Shuttles to all hotels are available from the Airport in the Sky if you are traveling by helicopter!

There are no cars on Catalina but bicycles and golf carts can be rented on a daily basis. Some hotels also provide them for free.
