How Do I Get To Catalina?

"How Do I Get To Catalina?"

There are two “roads” to Catalina Island, though we don’t recommend driving since one is by ocean and the other is by air.

You can get there by boat on the Catalina Express:
There is not assigned seating – be sure to arrive at your port at least an hour before your departure time so you can find a seat outside and enjoy the sea breeze or watch for dolphins and other sea creatures on the outer deck.
Or, so you can find a seat inside if you prefer a less windy trip.
The boat ride is approximately 45 minutes.
Stay tuned for more information about which departure times will have a Johnson/DeLuca Wedding discount rate.

You can also get there by boat on the Catalina Flyer:
This boat leaves from Newport Beach, which is a little further south of Long Beach.

You can also get there by Helicopter:

For those traveling from out of state, the two closest airports are the small and charming Long Beach Airport (LGB) and The Los Angeles International airport (LAX).
